Reporting bugs with detailed information really helps us solve issues quickly and thoroughly. If you are on this page, we appreciate you taking the time to follow these steps to help us figure out what is going wrong with Rize.

As a prerequisite, turn on our internal logging system by opening the menu bar, selecting the Developer submenu, and enabling Debug Mode.

Once you encounter the same issue that you'd like to report, please take the following steps to maximize the information that we can use to help solve the problem:

  1. Take a screenshot of what Rize looked like when broken.
  2. Write a quick sentence of what happened leading up to the bug.

For macOS:

  1. Open Finder.
  2. Hit CMD + SHIFT + G.
  3. Type in ~/Library/Logs/Rize.
  4. Email [email protected] with the screenshot, description, and all files that end with .log in the Rize directory from Step 3.

For Windows:

  1. Open File Explorer.
  2. Type %USERPROFILE%\\AppData\\Roaming\\Rize\\logs\\ into the address bar and hit ENTER.
